Welcome to the website of mezzo-soprano Lisa Woods. Lisa is known for her warm, rich mezzo-soprano voice and her commanding stage presence. An experienced soloist, Lisa is equally at home performing oratorio, opera, musical theater or in recital.
O.k. now that the formal intro is out of the way, here's the story. Singing is my first love - it is my passion. (Just ask my friends!) I sang my first solo at the age of 12 and no one has been able to keep me quiet since! Being able to touch people's lives through performance is a deeply rewarding experience for me. Having my life touched by great composers and wonderful audiences is as addictive as Belgian chocolate.
